All research has its flaws, so it is important to recognize those imperfections so you can evaluate the facts
The best kind of study is an “unbiased, Peer reviewed Random double-blind cross-over study” which can be a little more costly and take extra time, but the results are 99.9% reliable.
All research can be manipulated to end up exactly where it needs to be. In fact many results are written way before the study even begins and this is done to curtail the research to find these results. The internet is full of flawed studies.
Anatomystery will follow the trail of all studies and research posted on this site. The following is what we look for in a study.
- The purpose of the study
- Who performed the study and their track record
- All studies that do not agree and why
- How has a vested interest in the study party
- Type of study performed
- Imperfection and negative results of the study
How often do you see a published study on a prescription medication fail? The answer is never. There is a misnomer where people believe the FDA approves, studies and then licence’s the drugs for the market. The only studies that are done on a drug are studies performed by the manufacture of that drug. There is no one that actually approves the drug. The only thing that gets approved is the study process performed by the manufacture that produced the drug. The only thing that the FDA does is approve the way the study was done and then they license the drug.
This is why we have so many problems with prescription medication and why so many of them get recalled from the market.
Why wouldn’t the FDA require the drug companies to perform an unbiased, Peer reviewed Random double-blind cross-over study”? The answer is simple. The drugs would fail 75% of the time in one or more required categories. So what’s wrong if they fail? The Government would have to accept losing between 50 and 100 million dollars a year. Personally we believe this to be a financial disaster for the FDA.
The only problem with the system of licensing drugs is well over 300,000 people each year lose their life and 200,000 lose their body. The only way to prevent the half a million accidents from happening is to outsource the studies to non Government laboratories.
With all the advancements in health there is still 50% of the US population that believes their is only one way to treat a health condition. We are very fortunate this is changing at record speeds.
In about 10 years from now most of what you are reading here will no longer be necessary. We will all know how to take care of our bodies and doctors will be there for emergencies only, which is what they were originally intended to be. Emergency medicine is where doctors and Western theories received their fame and trust.
The human anatomy is physiology (the functioning of a living system) and biochemistry (the chemical processes in a living organism), is primarily the study of morphology (the form, structure and configuration of an organism), the human body.
All research on Anatomystery will be unbiased unless clearly stated otherwise.
Anatomystery will be researching every infomercial on television involving integrative medicine, vitamins and nutrition. All product ethicacy will be reported and posted on Anatomystery. If another product is equal or better than the commercial product and the price is less we will discuss it and let you know where it can be found.
