This company did the right thing by resolving the issue on April 21th 2010. Their name has been removed and the broadcast canceled. Most businesses are staffed with employees that may or may not care what happens to the company. I do not believe in hurting a company that has resolved the issues with their customers.
Almost everyone has heard of the BLANK.com where millions of people go to register their domain names for use on the internet. If you don’t know who they are it’s about time you do. If you do know who they are this article may interest you.
Previously known as Forman Interactive, was founded as a provider of Internet services by brothers Richard and Peter Forman in 1994. In 1999, the company officially changed its name to BLANK.com.
Personally I have been a fan of BLANK.com under my personal name and many of my corporate names since they opened their doors 1994.
It has taken me almost 2 years and a lot of soul searching before I decided to write this article. Many of those souls were victims just like me who woke up one day to fine their domain name that they had for many years missing from their account.
Of course the first thing you do is blame yourself for doing something wrong like not locking your domain name with auto renew set in place so you cannot lose your domain, or not making sure your credit card is valid so BLANK.com can renew your domain. But then you start to think back if you received your email warnings and letter that your domain name was about to expire if you don’t take the necessary steps to renew it.
The one thing about many of us who have a large number of domain names and credit card companies that will not allow their cards to go into default then realize that something may be wrong.
I’m one of those people that always had their domain names set to AUTO RENEW and my 15 year history can reveal this facts.
Yes I am one of many that have had their domain just disappear right out of their account without warning. I also then realized this happened to me in 2004 with BLANK.com and before I could get more than a few words out, BLANK.com place that domain right back into my account.
The interesting research that my attorney and I came up with is BLANK.com seems to only go after names that have a high resale value. I guess that would only makes sense if they are planning to allow people to bid on the name and not just place it back into the pot for anyone to purchase for $25.00 or less.
I think what frustrated me the most this time was they left it in my name for almost 2 years after they removed it from my account. Now that is a problem in itself that they or their attorneys are not even aware of.
The problem with these large companies like BLANK.com, Enron, Toyota, Microsoft, Target and many other large corporations is they believe they are bulletproof from the average Joe and think that they cannot be closed down or their financial world be rocked. Well in this new age of electronic technology it only takes weeks for hundreds and millions of people to find out who the bad guys are and create the largest Class action lawsuit that costs these corporation millions to defend themselves against and leaves a black mark on the internet forever that will affect their bottom line for life. Where do you think it goes from there? The share holders hear the news and start bailing out along with many other customers taking their business elsewhere in fear of losing their domain name. What else happens? Most likely a very powerful attorney firm reads this public notice and recognized BLANK.com and their insurance company and decides to find out how many other customer have had similar situations.
So what happens next? People starts coming out in groves to find out if they were also a victim of this crime and sooner than latter we have a Toyota Corporation situation.
Now am I pointing the finger at BLANK.com as committing a crime or was this a repeated honest mistake or did a disgruntled employee try to get BLANK.com in trouble or maybe that employee of BLANK.com just want this name for themselves. Most of us remember what recently happened to Dominos pizza where 2 employees made a disgusting video and allowed the world to see it on Youtube. This simple disgusting video could have put Dominos out of business but instead they just lost them millions of customer for life and created a whole list of domino type events that will hurt forever.
Now a day’s the little guy who needs to defend himself can actual do more damage to the HUGE corporations than let’s say 10 year ago. That old saying the bigger they are the harder they fall is actually now a reality. The little guy just has to know the legal and in order proper step to take to get the exact results they deserve. Now this does not mean people should use this knowledge and power to just go out and hurt some company that upset them. That would be an abuse of a situation and the tables may turn against you. But when it’s a legitimate complaint getting results is simple and won’t cost a dime. You also have to recognize what results really are. 1) They won’t continue these types of business practices anymore which are most important. 2) The have a permanent mark on the internet that will affect their business for life. 3) These bad marks are admissible in court under certain circumstances. The results are not always for financial gain and should never be viewed in this way when resolving an issue of principles.
There are over 200 organizations that will allow you to file a complaint against any company and give you the likely hood of your results. In fact very soon you will only have to file one complaint and all the other companies will get involved depending on the type of complaint. But it is also good to know that there are ways to tell millions of people your story. There are also TV stations like LINK TV that would be willing to release your story if you know how to get their interest on your issue.
By the way stealing names and other issues involving BLANK.com is nothing new. I will post just a few issues below:

My domains BANKNOTE.BIZ and WORLDCURRENCY.BIZ were removed from my NAMEBARGAIN.COM account by BLANK.COM and are selling at SEDO.CO.UK. BLANK.COM falsified the data of the domains and changed the owner to BLANK.com. I have updated my contact data, but they intentionally put the old data back and captured the domains.
I will avoid doing any kind of business or buying from BLANK.com, NameBargain.com and their associates.
Beware!!!

I found it interesting that this guy domain was taken around the time my first incident with BLANK happened.
On April 1, 2009, BLANK.com suffered a major DDoS attack, downing thousands of web sites. The FBI and The Department of Homeland Security were engaged to assist. Services were restored through counter-measures and minimized the disruption; some services were unavailable for 3 days. Twitter, a social networking service, was used to update customers on the status throughout the attack.
In January 2010, the Chinese search engine Baidu sued BLANK.com for gross negligence when their .com domain was hijacked by the Iranian Cyber Army.
