When you learn how drugs work you may be surprised.  This course will also show you how to make drug much more effective and how to avoid the side effects.

Drugs can save lives if your life can be saved and they are prescribed properly.  How difficult is it for a doctor to prescribe the correct medication?  It depends on the accuracy of the diagnosis.  Diagnosing is the first line of defense to resolving a health issue.  Diagnosing can take hours to weeks and many tests to find the problem.  The diagnosis will only be clinical picture (a snapshot) and symptoms.  The medication prescribed may be the answer for an acute condition and a suppressor, silencer or controller in chronic conditions.

Drugs work in many ways depending on the category of use.

  1. Statin drugs have survived the market for over 15 years but are without a doubt on there way out.  Their known and unknown side effects are destroying lives.  Why would a doctor have a patient take a statin drug to lower their cholesterol?  This immune supporting chemical called cholesterol is elevating in the blood to take care of some unknown problem in the body.   This is were medicine can really make a difference in someones life by researching why their patient has elevated cholesterol and treat that condition.  By suppressing or blocking the cholesterol you are also suppressing or blocking the immune system from doing its job.  Do we really believe that the human body is that stupid?  Can you invent a human body?  Elevated cholesterol which is an unseen chemical without blood work is doing its job without any help for you.  One of cholesterol’s number one function is to prevent strokes and vascular accidents.  Some doctors also say to prevent thinning of the arteries.  The known and unknown side effects statin drugs are devastating.
  2. Steroid drugs are life savers.  Without them the medical world would lose 25% of their fame.  The worst side effects are bone loss and adrenal breakdown.
  3. Pain Medication the miracle of relief, but the end to many lives.  We need pain medications but how can we make them safer, less addictive and work better.
  4. More to come :)
