Acne is the number one skin problem in the US. It will affect 85% of the entire population one time or another. Some acne problems are so severe they can cause skin damage and scaring that people believe they have to live with their entire life.
Most skin problems are very easy to resolve when you understand where skin problem really come from. Most skin problems are based on the following:
The body is trying to eliminate something inside which could be toxins or bacteria. There are many ways of clearing up skin problems. The most common way is to suppress the rash by using a steroid cream more known as cortisone or prednisone. This type of treatment works but does not clear up the underlying problem and later the rash returns or something much worse.
Most acne problems are nothing more than bacteria. The most common bacteria are Staphylococcus which is not foreign to the body and in fact helps the body in many ways. Using an antibiotic for acne or Staphylococcus will only cause more severe problems in the future.
The most responsible dermatology clinics will treat acne topically with a substance that is safe for the skin and blood. Many of the acne products on the market are astringent. This can cause severe dryness and also changes the pH of the skin. It is best to use an ointment or cream that does not change the pH and helps to moisturize the skin.
While curing a skin problem the diet should be clear of sugar, chocolate, milk, ice cream and carbonated drinks.
